interests...that is what this country has become. Unless and until our system allows the electorate to hold their representatives accountable, you will always be vulnerable to abuse. Case in point, the current Repuke controlled Congress fails to do its job of oversight, Bushco know this and knows he will not be challenged, ergo Executive overreach. The system dictates that money and influence yield power which trumps the will of the people. The solution - a revolution of the masses to take back our government. How? By getting the Internet activists to unite to form one singular body, a force that can speak for all of us. Let's marshal the resources we collectively have and use it to exert the force necessary for change. Let Skinner, and Kos, and Josh Marshall, and Atrios, and John Byrne and the rest come together to be the guiding force to unite this body as one voice for change so that we may return this great experiment in democracy back to what our founding fathers truly intended for us to be...a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
