to say things they didn't say, and it's an eerie experience. The voice fakery technology now could easily produce this audio.

I'm think both arguments-that he's dead or he's alive- are equally persuasive. I wouldn't wager one way or the other at this point.

One explanation for why Bin Laden might not release a video of himself, if he are still alive, is that he may have altered his appearance in order to avoid capture. Just a guess.
