The Associated Press reports that a government advisory panel is recommending the routine vaccination of 11- and 12-year-old girls against the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer.

They're just recommending that girls get it before they're sexually active. I don't know about making it a requirement to being in Public Schools as some are saying, but whatever. I'm pro immunization. It could eventually save thousands of lives each year by doing it.

2. ??? I thought they were originally going to target pre-pubertal

girls... 11 and 12 is going to be too late to accomplish that in many cases.
