Desperate GOP will be pulling out all the stops this summer
Polls haven't looked this bad for the GOP for at least a decade. And now, backed into a corner, they are flailing desperately with every dumbass issue they can muster in an attempt to get every "total fucking moron" they can to the polls this November.

1. An amendment to ban gay marriage in order to "protect" marriage.
2. An amendment to ban flag-burning. When's the last time anyone saw a burning flag in the U.S.?
3. A bill to protect the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. Are they in danger?
4. A resolution that we will win the war on terror - a resolution that incidentally means absolutely nothing.
5. A bill to declare English our official language? What the hell would that actually do, anyway?

I can't wait to see what other shit these monkeys crap into their hand and throw at the American people. How about an amendment to ban the persecution of Christians? Or a resolution declaring that Congress will not repeal the Second Amendment? Or a resolution that evil is bad and good is really cool. I know - how about ten amendments to the Constitution, all bearing a striking resemblance to the Ten Commandments? Sweet! That'll turn out those total fucking morons!

The GOP's "values agenda" will result in one of two things:

1. Too many Republicans reach their limit for tolerating their party's horseshit and stay home in November, preserving the Democrats' advantage in the polls (GOP election fraud notwithstanding).

or

2. GOP pollsters know something that we don't, that being there are far more total fucking morons in the United States than we had imagined. And the "values agenda," better labeled as the "desperate total fucking moron agenda" will result in victory.

1. Get out the Moron Vote - I like it
One would think a political group would have a quiet moment, realize what they are doing is not working and try something else. One would think.

2. And when the voting machines give it to them, everybody will say
that these moronic arguments were what won the election for them and that the Dems are idiots or ran stupid campaigns, etc. etc.

3. Number 5 may have some
very unfortunate consequences. I could see some states, my own included(depending on election outcomes) using this as an excuse to no longer fund English as a second language classes. Other then that it's all BS-divide and conquer stuff from the RNC.

5. gosh maybe the Democrats should go on the offense
they want a resolution condemning the NY Times, the Democrats should hold a press conference and SCREAM THAT IT WAS THE REPUBLICANS THAT DIDN'T WANT TO RENEW THE VOTING RIGHTS ACT

Whatever nonesense they bring up the Democrats MUST bring up the REAL PEOPLE'S agenda, and point it out loud and clear which is the party that cares for the citizen and the soldier

6. You don't expect them to go quietly, do you?
No, I've said it for the past four years: These bloodthirsty motherfuckers aren't going to go without a fight. You know those unfortunate news stories that mention the phrase "If he couldn't have her, he'd make sure nobody could"? Well, it'll be like that, but raised to a rather high exponent.

They'll cling to every last vestige of power and prestige as if their very lives depended on it. And it does. We're going to have to beat their fingers with hammers to pry their greedy hands off the levers of power. They're going to use every means, fair and unfair, to trick us, trap us, and turn us against one another. You might as well get ready for it. By the time we get to the end of this debacle, we're going to be like Nick Nolte's character at the end of the movie 48 HRS: Tired, hungover, grim, and with just one thing on our minds, to get the bad guy.

There will be no joy and no vindication. These assholes will do everything possible to turn the taste of victory into ashes in our mouths. And so it must be, for a while. We've got a lot of work to do to turn our country back into the United States of America, and routing these Orcs out of office will be merely the first step.
