"Iraq War Ends Silently for One American Soldier" NY Times
Sgt. Terry Michael Lisk, 26, of Zion, Ill. :patriot:

A must read ..... click on the multi media section too. Anbar Province is killing
one American per day guess those troops and the people who live there have missed "the good
news out of Iraq."

RAMADI, Iraq, June 28 — A soldier was dead, and it was time for him to go home.

The doors to the little morgue swung open, and six soldiers stepped outside carrying a long black bag zippered at the top.

About 60 soldiers were waiting to say goodbye. They had gathered in the sand outside this morgue at Camp Ramadi, an Army base in Anbar Province, now the most lethal of Iraqi places.

"A Greek philosopher said that only the dead have seen the end of war," the colonel said. "Only Terry Lisk has seen the end of this war."

Definitely listen to the audio report by Dexter Filkins in the multimedia section. It is so much more immediate than the text, which itself is very well written.

Thanks for posting this Botany!

4. If more people read this story the war would be brought to an end.

Why the hell are we there?

No WMDs
No link to 9/11
No al Qaeda before we invaded
Saddam is gone
No bin Laden

All those people dying so we can create an Islamic theocracy which will be
a terrorist training ground.
