Video, my response to "Carbon dioxide...we call it life."
Edited on Tue Jun-27-06 09:54 PM by originalpckelly
I will pm it to anyone who wants it in video format.

Original:
"There's something in these pictures you can't see. It's essential to life. We breath it out. Plants breath it in. It comes from animal life. The oceans. The Earth. And the fuels we find in it. It's called carbon dioxide, CO2. The fuels that produce CO2 have freed us from a world of back-breaking labor. Lighting up our lives. Allowing us to create and move the things we need. The people we love. Now some politicians want to label carbon dioxide a pollutant. Imagine if they succeed. What would our lives be like then? Carbon dioxide, they call it pollution, we call it life."

Alternate Universe:
"There's something in these pictures you can't see. It's essential to propaganda. They blurt it out. Idiots take it in. It comes from crackpots. The oil companies. The politicians. And their lobbyists. It's called bullshit, BS. The people who produce BS have freed us from a world based upon reality. Heating up our world. Allowing them to destroy our future. For the people we love. Now some lobbyists want to lie about Earth's environment. Imagine if they succeed. What would our lives be like then? Bullshit, they call it truth, we call it lies."

6. Too much of a good thing can kill you . . .
Edited on Tue Jun-27-06 10:36 PM by Klimmer
If you breath pure oxygen underwater below 33 feet (one atomosphere) it will kill you dead. At this pressure it then acts as a poison.

Hey, a glass green house (using growing lights at night) filled with a certain percent of carbon dioxide will kill us dead, but the plants will flourish.

If there is too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere surrounding our planet, it will change it radically (global warming), and will eventually kill us dead.

Too much of a good thing can kill you.
