I always thought that war profiteering was some sort of a crime.
Is it? Or did I just invent that memory from my college days.

Is it or is it not a crime to profit from war?

3. I doubt that it is a crime unless like Prescott Bush you are helping
the enemy. If it were a crime then no one would be making weapons, etc. Which might be a good idea. However I think the real objection is more of a moral objection. If you make TOOOOOOOOOO much from the war then it is seen as unpatriotic because you really are not helping the nation. I would guess that helliburtin is way over TOOOOOOOOOOOOO much.

4. The number one war profiteer is our own vice president.
We are in the twilight zone.

5. There shouldn't be any profit in war, period.
General Smedley Butler knew what he was talking about, and his message is more relevant than it was in the early 20th century.
