A message for nominal Christians cutting and running from Jesus
Edited on Mon Jun-26-06 10:01 AM by usregimechange
Sitting in a pew once a week and calling yourself a Christian doesn't make you one. Voting for Republicans who call themselves Christians while they kick the crutches out from underneath disabled Americans by cutting Medicaid is an indicator of a lack of committment to Christian (and humanist) principles. If I were a nominal Christian I might tell you that you will go to hell for what you have done to your brothers and sisters.

3. By their own actions, they will be judged....
Funny the Bible warns of deceivers.. People that would use Jesus' name for their sake... It said many will be deceived....

5. I could but I was thinking that a simple message is the best.
If it gets longer than a bumpersticker, who will listen. Kerry said, but I am talking to smart Democrats. True but we need practice! imo

7. I would stack Democratic atheists against nominal christians
anyday. "Because you say you SEE, your sin remains."

9. James 2:14-17 learn it, and always know it by heart.
2:14 What profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what profit?
2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

10. I don't know why but when you posted that I remembered
Edited on Mon Jun-26-06 11:47 AM by usregimechange
this little girl who rode my day care bus when I was like 4. She was maybe 6 and the bus would always stop to get doughnuts in the morning. My family was poor and I never got any of them. Except on the days she rode the bus. She would split hers in half and give the other half to me. I will always remember that.
