Do Republicans even THINK about the stupid slogans they come up with?
Edited on Sun Jun-25-06 05:21 PM by Rex
I mean REALLY, don't they have a think tank or something with billions of dollars for research? Their new slogan, "Dems cut & run"...well guess what? If you don't 'cut & run' you're fucked, no two ways about it. If you don't 'cut & run', expect to get dragged DOWN below the waves. Hope you Repukes have gills! :eyes:

1. Their slogans are made to appeal to people who don't think.

4. And now it appears the "military machine" in Iraq is thinking
of withdrawing troops (predicted long ago due to elections in November). But CBS on the news tonight made a point of claiming this wasn't cutting and running, though they never explained why it's not the same. :eyes:

Someone has some explaining to do!

6. Well if Republicans are saying/doing it then you don't need a reason
all must be taken on faith! For the MIC, this is 'reduction and redirection' assessment.

7. A lot of work goes into producing those slogans.
They do market testing to see if the slogan has appeal and sticks in people's heads. They have to get the slogans out to the different media and talking heads. They have to have dozens of senators and congressmen get on the news using the slogan over and over.

All so that when the regular Joe on the street is asked about what the Democrats plan for Iraq is he will respond "I don't know. I think they want to cut and run."

Haven't you ever noticed that the Repukes hit the TV circuit hard and heavy when they have a new slogan to use.

8. I find it odd that they never used that when Reagan "cut and ran"...
out of Beruit!

Poppy bush never gopt to Saddam during DS I....did he just not finish the job, or did he "cut and run"?

Nixon, then Ford used the "cut and run" in VN...Hmmm what's wrong w/the GOP posititon?

9. And the MSM will NEVER support the Dems....
Did I say MSM?

I meant the" REPUBLICAN-OWNED" CORPORATE MEDIA....who have made it their personal mission to coddle George W Bush...

... and his corrupt, demented administration.

18. I know! Makes you wonder how far is to far.
I thought the GOP purple heart 'band-aid' during the 2004 presidential election would be it! No way would ANYONE believe Repukes are pro-military after that. Wrong again.

20. It reflects the mentality of their constituents
You just can't get too deep with these people. Cut and run, they can understand and repeat easily and often.

It doesn't matter to them that it is not really what the Democrats plan is or what they want to have happen.

It is just easy for them to remember.
