Problem With The Ford SuperDuty
Edited on Sun Jun-25-06 04:30 PM by ThomWV
Look, I'm just an old country asshole. There are some things I know about and some that I don't.

The big Ford pickup trucks, the three-quarter and one-tons, are called SuperDutys. They're pretty nice trucks. If you own one and it has the Diesel engine not only will you be the pride of Texas but you also get to see an annoying problem with the truck within about 400 miles. The things hold 39 gallons of fuel. You get used to it and its nice. The problem is that when you go to pump one full the first 35 gallons go into the hole like Niagara and then everything comes to pretty much a standstill. Because of a whole lot of things not worth mentioning the last few gallons take forever to get in the truck.

So that's one of the things I know.

What I do not know is how long it takes to fill up a damned North Korean ICBM. I've been hearing about this thing since last tuesday, and again just a few minutes ago on the radio. I am told they Koreans are fulling it up and when they do they are gonna shoot it off. Then all hell is going to break loose and god only knows that will happen next, but a pure shitstorm to be sure.

So am I to assume the same asshole designed the Korean rocket as the Ford truck's fuel tank?

That one of the things I don't know, how long does it take to dump the last couple of gallons in a North Korean rocket? Surely to goodness its ready to shoot off by now.

2. Maybe this will help..... You may not know this but according
to some of our greatest minds.....

"Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns - the ones we don't know we don't know"

BTW, you'd get over 20 mpg with a Dodge cummins 3/4 ton 4wd... close to 25 on the highway.
