No POW's in the war on terror..
With this week's torture and beheading of US troops captured in Iraq, it would appear that POW's are a thing of the past.

1. As we have suspended many of the other
Geneva Conventions, it is not a surprise.

2. Take no prisoners, give no quarter.
Really, there's not much need to mention the old Geneva Convention rules these days, other than to remember them fondly and quaintly.

by people on the ground that they will be killed if they are captured in Afghanistan or Iraq. We do take prisoners, as a rule, as a rule they do not. This is not new and was practiced in the Pacific theater in ww2. Not that it is correct. But our guys would have gotten the queen of hearts from the insurgents before Abu Graib.

5. I am not sure there is a profit to be made off POWs
If there were there would be a lot of them. War Profiteering is all they know.
