The position to take is that it’s not America’s war at all. The issue is that it’s George Bush’s war. His own, personal, private obsession.

So much so that he was scheming and plotting for years, even before 9/11, to have that war. Then, after 9/11, he lied and misled us, he used members of his administration to lie and mislead, in order to convince both the congress and the American people to have that war.

Once he had the war, he and his people planned it ineptly and executed it disastrously.

It’s his ineptitude and his disaster.

4. This is good stuff, a clear summation
I hate to say this now, but this is exactly how I've felt about this war all along. Let Bush & company stew in their own juice; don't try to solve yet another of his huge mistakes. He's always had someone to come along and save him from his mess and then come out looking like a hero to many.

It's Bush's war: He planned it, he justified it, he lied for it, he's enjoyed many benefits from this.
There are so many of the soldiers who've been interviewed, believe they should stay over there, so they can do the job they can be proud of; so, it's Bush's responsibility to carry out their wishes.

It's Bush's war..shame on him and all those who prop him up. :spank: :spank: ;( :evilfrown:
