CNN, this morning..Take your pick of the lame "be afraid" stories.
They're trying hard. It's just that fabricated fear stories seem to unravel a little quicker these days.

Both of these stories started with breathless reporting about the scary implications and ended on a whimper.

My paraphrasing of the lead stories on CNN this hour:

You must fear....the seven guys in Florida who might have been thinking about terrorism. There were no explosives, weapons or money in their "warehouse", however, well, they probably talked about terrorism and Al Queda, and the White House says this is a big deal, so that's why we keep talking about it.

Or, you must fear...the missile launch coming from North Korea, or maybe it's already happened, and the launch could be a weaponed missile or maybe a satellite, however, North Korea is saying they already launched the missile and anyway, Rumsfeld has this all under control and we're running out of stock missile launch film, anyway.

Wait, both Aaron Spelling and Patsy Ramsey are dead? Thank goodness, there's some real news that we can accurately report! MKJ

1. But celebrity deaths simply RUIN the theme!!!
How can you watch footage of a child beauty queen and Charlie's Angels and worry about that pesky nuke stuff? What's a few yahoos doing karate and bumming money off an informant compared to The Love Boat, Dynasty, and a tiny little child in COSMO cover make up???

3. Patsy Ramsey's death was the lead on CNN
this AM. With Iraq descending further into chaos, Afghanistan not far behind, North Korea threatening, endless revelations of Bush Crime Family spying, rampant corruption and on and on....her death was a Godsend of a distraction for the whores who can now dredge up every detail of the almost 10-year-old unsolved murder while ignoring all of the above.
