Just shoot me....WHY do I watch Hardball
they just reported on the study showing college kids who watch The Daily Show "don't vote". Which is NOT what the study showed. It showed the kids who watch The Daily Show are MORE CYNICAL! IT DID NOT SHOW (according to the reports I've seen) that kids don't vote.

God I wish the media would occasionally get the facts right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. But won't this be excellent fodder for TDS next week?
I'm sure Jon Stewart will have great fun with it.

8. I only have it on so my TV is ready for Keith.
Hey! Nora O'Donnell is telling Ruhel Ahmed who claims he was held at Gitmo for two years for no reason that he isn't going to win many people to his side if he calls President Bush a terrorist!

Hmm. Maybe she needs to get some brains.

16. She's awful
I didn't buy into it, since I don't watch her all that much. But I've caught a few of her interviews recently, and damn. She doesn't even try to hide it.

She always trys to play "hardball" with guys like Dean, but she was so damn school-girl giggly in her interview with Boehner that it was downright disgusting. Did anyone else see that interview?

It's like they don't even try to keep up the appearance of being unbiased anymore.

23. I cannot watch her.
She reminds me of that scowley Crowely chick. Definitely a lower vibrational being. And proud of it, I think.

6. It was hilarious that they think ONLY cynical college kids watch TDS
Dumbasses.

Do they really think these kids will stop watching TDS because the not-so-hotshots said so?

learned about politics, they would be just as cynical.

11. Another right wing show mentioned that HALF
the new citizens, over the last ten years,in California are hispanic, but they don't bother to vote.

They did get the numbers about new citizens right - as so many women come
from Mexico and Latin America to have their babies here that a whole slew of new citizens are hispanic, but ya know something, kids under ten usually don't vote

17. Quite snippy, that Nora
When she sarcastically said the remark about the planes hitting buildings then finished off with "it's a new world" I was speechless. Sooooo unprofessional. Basically, her attitude was "cry me a river Aye-Rab" and she looked a little hysterical while berating her guest.
Crack me up when she congratulated them on the movie after verbally abusing them during the sergment.

21. I'm sitting here looking at CNN for the first time in months.
It didn't take long for me to get sick of the propaganda.

I can't believe how far Right CNN goes now. Glenn Beck!? Right now they just yapped about 'home grown terrorism', gosh home grown sounds a lot like something else the govt hates. 'Virtual jihad' can pipe it right into the living room! Good thing we have new laws in place to deal with that.

Oh yeah, now there is some new, bizarre strings growing out of peoples bodies in the South!

Who invented 24/7 news? They are the ultimate media-whores. Seems to work quite well for the BFEE.

22. Well, don't feel badly. You probably just like pain.
When I was in graduate school, I had a professor, Dr. Stewart, who said that all graduate students were masochists, and if they weren't when they started, they were by the time they finished. Dr. Stewart was a wise and very droll man.
