4. 28%
They are always around somewhere are they not? Maybe they will get raptured and then we won't have to put up with them any more.

10. Actually, I'm heartened that it's only 28%.
Actually, I'm heartened that it's only 28%.

I always claimed that Shrub's numbers would bottom out
around 33%, so having only 28% whackos is better than
I expected.

3. How can you do an opinion poll on something that is factual?

5. Simple.
Do an opinion poll on a site with general public access and ask "Was Columbus right about the world being round?" and you'll get at least 10% who vote no.

One needs to always be "fair and balanced", even when it leads to
blatant bullshit being provided as "the balance".

At least, that seems to be the rule in MMM -- Modern Murican Media.

12. Right. Like "Both Sides" of the evolution "debate".
Namely, the people who understand reality as backed up by mountains of physical, corroborating evidence, and the people who are living in total denial.

6. "The teaching of evolution and distribution of condoms in public schools"
Hey- if you're going to break with reality, might as well go all the way.

Nothing subversive intended; I prefer "Global Climate Change"
as it more-accurately reflects the many effects (besides the
overall planet-wide rise in average temperature).

11. Right right right. I think we went through this before.
If the Chron had put it in quotes, however, my interpretation of their intent would be wholly different. Peace.
