The fact that not many folks are talking about it means that a hell of
lot of people watched it. Frontline: Dark Side.

Not even much mention on DU. I have found over the years that when the media and discussion boards virtually ignore a mind-blowing issue or event, it means that a lot people actually saw it, heard about it, or read about it AND THEY DON'T WANT THE FUCK TO TALK ABOUT IT!!

1. I've seen threads about it here, especially when it was on
more than a couple. I don't think anyone is ignoring anything. Just have different fish to fry today

2. Some of us were talking about it at work.
The consensus was that Cheney is a really evil SOB. We don't talk politics that much at work, so I figure this program must have been unusually notable.

3. wasn't that on pbs...?
that's why it wasn't seen by many people...i started watching, but i wasn't seeing anything new, or anything i didn't already know- so i pretty much lost interest...hearing all that kind of stuff again just makes me angry and depressed anyway.

Overwhelmingly so. The boogyman under the bed.

5. Yeah, and besides the planning of war and power grabbing,
it makes me ill to think of how complicit Miller and NYTimes were in propping up their bogus story. Damn, that is scary.

6. I really didn't see it.
Too busy in rl.
But, I already knew Cheney was evil, just not all the details.

9. Watched it, talked about it,
and tried to be a little less scared of it as I was of 'Signs' this weekend! Cheney is just like that last scene where the alien is tring to gas the child... freakishly scary.

10. My SO, who is *not* a political junkie, watched it...
...and she couldn't quit talking about it. She was in tears after seeing the full level of evil running our country...she "knew", generally, what was going on--but seeing it all laid out was traumatic for her. I think lots of folk had their eyes opened...
