What's up with CNN's John King?

3. What next? 'In the bath' interview with The Twins? And I'm not referring to those in the beer commercial either...

1. He doesn't seem to mesh too well with Candy Crowley.

And that's a major "plus" in my book.


They were on a panel discussion a few nights ago along with Wolfie and someone else I don't recall. But Candy kept staring daggers at King the whole time.

I've always wondered what it is with her: she's not competent, she's strident, not particularly insightful or original, she doesn't get great scoops, she's not attractive enough (!) to sell the Bush-line to the general public, she's hardly good-looking even for a large, sorry - huge, lady, some of whom can be, I am told, very pretty.

I just don't get it...
