Dobbs is on board with Santorum and Hoekstra
pretty sad

Hoekstra's on now, saying that the latest revelation is one piece of a complex puzzle.

saying that they're a danger to our troops now, as well as the Iraqi people, if they get out now

nothing about the danger they presented to the US back THEN

what a DICK

1. already over....too bad he didn't see the hyena laughing it up over
this ridiculous story with Pat Buchanan and Eugene Robinson

Norah really likes to pull out that shriek, doesn't she?

there's a thread on the ODonnell/Hardball thing here someplace

3. Oh come on
The sarcasm was oozing out of Lou's pores. He could barely contain himself. He worked very hard at keeping a straight face. I admire his courage.

4. I agree.
All he did was let the guy spew. The more he spewed the lamer he sounded. Good job Lou.

8. if that's the case, how does that make him any different than Russert,
etal, who merely provide a platform, comment-free, for every other RW talking point?

jesus

10. I think he's a lot different from Russert.
Is Russert confronting e-voting fraud?

11. no argument there, but he treated Hoekstra exactly the same as Russert
Edited on Thu Jun-22-06 05:51 PM by Gabi Hayes
treats cheney

are you watching the way he's going after Emanuel?

did he ask ONE hostile question of Hoekstra?

case closed

EDIT: he's all over the map on many topics, but my guess is that he'll reveal himself to be on the side of the WMD-found proponents. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but that's the way I saw it. Always interesting to see how things are perceived

12. NO. Case "not closed".
He said Emanuel was correct for 3 out of 4 points. I, along with Emanuel, call that a WIN.

16. OK....got me there, but I only saw the point where he was giving it
to Emanuel

watch David Grange's ass get kissed right now

what do you think about that?

I'll guarantee he'll be lipping him up most excellently

Says it's very bad. I agree.

19. yep, but was that the shortest "interview" you've ever seen?
after Grange's platitudinous non-response, Dobbs merely thanked him for appearing, and ended it

WTF?

13. I agree as well
He prefaced the whole segment by saying that the Pentagon disagreed with the assessment of the congressman and he also said that these weapons were leftovers from the Iraq-Iran war.

He also said sarcastically to Hoekstra, "Where is the Whitehouse on this?".

I didn't take it as Dobb's being on board at all.

22. There is an irrational prejudice against Lou Dobbs,
similar to that against Wesley Clark, by a few on this board. It is based solely on the premise that they used to be, or in the case of Clark simply previously voted, Republican. Whatever good they are doing now is negated in the name of democratic purity. I call bullshit on this.

5. Dobbs amazes me - sometimes he seems brilliant
sometimes dumb as a two year old. Why wouldn't the Bushies be dancing in the street if this were true? Why would they send a freakin' idiot like RICKY out to tell the big news?

people who are illegal aliens which are non-white or people who originate from european countries , overall he agrees with bush and is an republican.

14. coming up next: one of Dobbs' warmonger pets....David Grange
he loves that guy

he'll treat him exactly the way he did Hoekstra

tell me the difference in approach, and how he can go along with Grange's BS, while 'subtly' allowing Hoekstra to hoist himself on his on petard

or can it be had both ways?

18.  what a joke: a tough question about Iraq, but....
he did a list of several things that are going badly in Iraq, ending with something about the killing of civilians

Grange only answered the last one, with a big fat platitude

Dobbs' response: thank you for being with us, General Grange

totally worthless exchange. what was the point?

20. Lou Dobbs is a disaffected Republican...
one who realizes how bad their party has become. He isn't really on our side, but he is against them.
