That Interview was a sad joke
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? Howard Dean gets interrogated and the VP, the second most important leader of this country and all the shit he's started and pulled and he gets little girly slaps? And no follow-up questions??? I shouldn't be surprised, but I just can't believe what I saw. You guys are right. Real media is gone.

1. yup
I have heard Chris Mathews make little comments then add things like boy am I gona get a call now....they will not hit them with hard questions no matter what. Ron Reagan says he often hears calls to go on easy on the repubs but never on the Dem's it is not even a secret ...it is all so efin sick and twisted anymore

3. The main stream media
has been dead for quite some time, sad to say.
What you see and hear is just the 'rotting corpse' and never say die'zombie' still rattling around, unable to 'go to the light'! :+

4. The press at the Pentagon briefing was just as shameful
Many of the questions were asked as though the press were one with the DoD ("what are our capabilities", "what will we do....")

One questioner's critical follow-up was shuttled off with "one per customer" but there came Barbara Starr with her easy ups and sure! -that one got a response.

At least 5 questions were about a draw-down, while the question that was asked and nixed was about Haditha. No one followed up.

Nothing about raising the enlistment age.

One woman was flustered and then humiliated because the rum didn't like the way she stated her question.

The whole thing was a sham, that *happened* hmmmm to line up exactly with the WH daily Iraq memo to the repubs in Congress.

6. But according to this twit, 70% of the media is liberal
:eyes:

Most news media have liberal slant

6/21/2006
The author of the June 15 letter in Everybody's Column, "It's refreshing to hear both sides of an issue," said she was pleased with the "left-leaning" programming at WHLD and WWKB and how "finally we can now listen to both sides of the issues." She should be reminded that more than 70 percent of news media in the United States have a liberal slant. It is the conservative programming that offers us both sides of the issues, and that is truly exciting.

I wouldn't screw with Cheney, sitting across from him, either.
