Democrat Party--Why do none of the Party's officials, candidates, office
holders, or spokes people ever correct media people or other politicians and demand that they use the proper name of the party? This just pisses me off to no end. It is a first step to demanding respect to be addressed using your proper name.

the only real way to fight back is to call them rethugs, banana republicans, republiCONs, etc.

3. They do it on purpose. It's by design..to piss off the Dems. That
wouldn't be...'being a grammar Nazi' because it's not a mistake.

7. i agree that we wouldn't *be* grammar nazis, but
we would *come across* as grammar nazis.

the typical voter does NOT want a lecture on nouns and adjectives.

2. No balls?
Just a guess.

Surely they know they're being dissed. Maybe they ignore it hoping it will just stop? Repukes are like 2 year olds. If you show them it angers you, they will do it more often. Who knows why? My guess...they have no balls.

4. I sympathize with you but
until we can come together on important common issues as a party and stop wasting our time on issues like this we will continue to lose elections.

5. Even Bush said it this week in an interview.
He said it with a sneer and with a derogatory nuance so reminiscent of his father.

6. Because they have remained silent TOO LONG, and were willing

to accept the "accidental" language..Whenever some did attempt to correct the "error" back then they were accused of being "nitpicky" and "petty"...and were told it was "probably just a slip of the tongue"..

Republicans are masters of "framing" and no one bests them in the use of sly language...The democrats should have just started calling them Republics or calling them "cans"...(as in shitcans), but the ones given a rare chance at the microphone just shut their pie holes and pretended it didn;t matter...in fact THEY started doing it too...

To me it's like calling someone Willie, when they have told you numerous times, they prefer William.. It's rude, in-your-face and it's a taunt, no matter how you slice it..

The media noticed it early on, and were only too eager to play "needle the democrat"..
