Santorum needs to just drop out of the race.
It would save him a lot of embarrassment. I think he's going down for an historic pounding. (I assume it's too late for Repukes to dig up a semi-viable candidate.)

1. I think it's the same for Conrad Burns in Montana.
Not as high profile a race, but an equal amount of US Senate power.

5. Santorum put himself front and center with that debacle yesterday.
That marked the end of his Senatorial career, imo.

Good to hear that Burns is also about to hit the dust.

13. LOL He claimed on the Senate floor, with C-SPAN cameras filming
everything, that he had found Saddam Hussein's WMD! Wonderful comedy that really lit up this board.

6. What can you tell us, the uninitiated, about this race?
I'm not counting any chickens. I couldn't imagine how Jim Bunning could be re-elected. A lot of people told me he wouldn't be.

8. Embarrassment? That's akin to shame and they have none
It's what keeps Morticia Harris in the campaign even when both the state party and the voters have repeatedly told her to kiss off, drop dead, just go away.

I have no idea what sort of overwhelming ego dictates one reach for so much more than one has already been given. There is no way either of these characters can win a credible election, no matter what crooked voting machines might say. Neither of them will be allowed to take office, not even in the corrupt states of Florida and Pennsylvania. The popular outcry will be too great.

Of course, this could be a blessing in disguise, an "upset" so great that no one could possibly believe it. It may be the only way to wake up the majority to the fact of Reupuglican election fraud and the theft of the last several elections.

They already know Stupid stole his first term.

15. He sounded batsh*t crazy on Imus this morning
Even Imus was riding him about the WMD thing. He thinks Little Ricky is a "good man," "tells the truth" etc., but he (Imus) is opposed to the war. Here was little Ricky babbling inanely about "these are the WMDs we went to war over" or some such sh*t and Imus called him on it. Not very hard, but still it was a big step for the I-man.

He's going home. Wherever that is.
