Apparently the probes can be purchased at science-supply places. At the veterinary clinic where I used to work, I remember that there were some in the equipment drawer. I assumed they were just general surgical stuff, since I didn't know what they were for ... I do now! (I didn't learn how to sex reptiles there, just birds ... my co-workers still kid me about the time I sexed someone's pet ducks.)

I am such a geek about scientific topics. That is one great episode ... don't you guys think he would be a brilliant teacher?
