3. I just came in at the end--but he was talking about what a farce
this whole namecalling thing is when we have serious buisiness. And now Gen Casey is calley fro troop reductions. Is he "cutting and running?"

He nailed the pukkkes on all their triumphalist BS, and asked that we be realistic instead of fantasy-based.

Then Frist stood up to begin his speech, wearing a diaphanous fairy gown, tiara, and filmy wings with a translucent sheen. "Clap if you believe in Freedom!!" he trilled.

Now I have to run away to sit in my own cubicle. Have a good day!

:loveya:

I am at work, did they have the votes yet, on the Kerry-Feingold and Levin-Reed Amendments yet? is this another disappointment in how the Republicans are kissing to George.

4. I did hear Reid quote Teddy Roosevelt in his speech
...the "supporting the president right or wrong is treasonable" quote

He also was personalizing the soldiers lost in Iraq...that they aren't just numbers that Tony Snow throws around in his press briefings.

I was feeding my kid breakfast but I did hear those two things....

7. Frist is spinning a piss-poor yarn...bad fiction
He's saying we leave Iraq when we "achieve our objectives"...and he even boldly claims that we are "achieving our objectives"

Naturally Frist fails to list just what those objectives are ...

Not very hard to achieve nothing...

17. I thought it was pretty good, but then again I happen to like it
when someone gets up and speaks the truth. It happens so infrequently these days.

they are kicking ass. i don't recall since the election in 2004 anything happening with the dems that people werent impressed. they say man, they should keep it up. but they do keep it up. man, they should be more consistant, they are that consistant.

our dems have been doing a kick ass job

we need to remember that. insteaqd of just the here and there we are allowed to watch and be reminded that they are kicking ass. and attacking them as spineless in between
