who else thinks this election will be tight?
We are going to get labeled cut and run and I think it will work. I am so nervous about this election because it is so so so important. All of my donations will be going to candidates running in swing districts/states who we NEED to pick up to win the house and senate back. I don't care how liberal or moderate they are.

...count the votes

4. The Dems need to put the "Cut and Run" label to rest
It's been three or four years in Iraq...we have given the administration time and opportunity to succeed....they have failed and must get out before they destroy our military....we are there because of "profit".

The Dems need to reframe the argument...

8. I believe
That we need to make a firm stand on Iraq, and we ARE, FINALLY. What they keep saying about 'take a stand, even if it's wrong, is better than being on the fence and wishy washy' or something like that, it's true. The polls support not only getting out of Iraq, but A TIMETABLE! We have to take this stand and have faith.

9. I think the election will be stolen again
Edited on Wed Jun-21-06 09:36 PM by leftofthedial
because nothing has been done to fix the problems that led to 2000 and 2004 being stolen.

In the absence of massive election reform, I don't think a Democrat will ever win another national election unless the repukes want it to happen.

11. How can it be tight? The polls are below 40%...
The ONLY way it'll be "tight" is if they STEAL IT AGAIN! Other than that "small detail"...they are bottom-dwellers.

12. Just because Bush is tanking doesn't mean that all Republicans
are going to vote Democrat. We can always hope that they stay home.

14. True, however, Bush isn't the only one who is tanking.
The "polls" still show that the majority of the American people support a Dem. Majority House or Senate. IMO, that's the good news.
