Democrats have a Great 06 Platform now!
Edited on Wed Jun-21-06 04:31 PM by BayCityProgressive
The GOP are fucking pigs and they have created a wonderful agenda for us today. We will renew the Voting Rights Act without racist changes (this will get the minority vote out in huge numbers). We support work place protection and hate crimes legislation to protect gays ( even some GOP support this now), We support raising the minimum wage to help the poor, we will create a windfall tax for the oil companies, We will address global warming (Al Gore has made this a huge issue) and biggest of all..Dems are unifying on Iraq...WE will create a timetable for leaving.

9. Democracy is voting to represent YOUR views
300 million Americans don't break evenly into two corporate party camps, believe it or not.

11. So six long years of hell.........
.....isn't enough for you?? The neocons will absolutely love people like you. As Bush #41 said, "That is the most insidious of treason".

12. Maybe it's the fault of the people who DIDN'T vote Nader
But I guess we have to persecute the minority that voted for who they actually wanted.

13. although
Bush stole the election; it had nothing to do with Nader. He ran a legitimate and legal campaign and got legal and legitimate votes, unlike Bush

14. If everyone left of the middle had stuck together Idiot Boy......
....wouldn't be in the WH today. Nader supporters can say what they want about him getting a whole 2% of the vote, or voting one's conviction, or any other lame excuse that momentarily sounds good. The bottom line is if all Liberals had stuck together the Idiot Boy and his Handlers would not be in the WH now. But the neocons knew that and so they used Nader.

Here's the facts........

Fact, Nader took campaign money from the neocons.

Fact, Nader appeared in ads with neocons.

Fact, Nader worked against and talked against fellow Liberals.

Fact, based on all that Nader is a traitor to Liberals everywhere.

Anything else is needless stupid excuses.

Ok, this is getting nowhere

18. Get your head of the sand man!
If Nader wants to think he's the real deal build the party. Run candidates in local races and run them in senate and congressional elections. This once every 4 years stuff just screwing the democrats is not democracy. Nader is being used by the right as a tool to steal votes away from the left. Wake up your eyes! We did it to Bush 41 when Perot rolled along with his reform party.

10. without voteing reform there is only one party anyway, the one who cheats
with the machines and is allowed to behave like Blackwell and get away with it..

votes for Nader will indicate the unhappiness of democrats with inaction on the most important issues that will win the election..

15. Let's say "repair min wage to help WORKERS" as opposed to "the poor".
The electoate HATES "the poor". The war on poverty is OVER and "the poor" lost.
