If you just heard Thom's show, he played a clip of Rush saying that liberal blogs were happy about the two Nat. Guard soldiers who had been brutally killed.

Usually, I just ignore that slimeball. But when I heard that ... hell! HOW DARE HE lie like that!!!

Otherwise, all he would have to do is produce a SINGLE blog entry or post from any person or website claiming to be a "liberal", "democrat", etc... and again, there'd be nothing we could do.

He may not have mentioned DU by name but he did use one of my posts and he lied about me. The problem is that he did not use my name (go figure since I have not disclosed what it is) and when you sue someone for slander you have to prove damages. What damages are there when all he does is lie but he does not use your name?

The problem with programs, like Rush's, is that they are opinion programs. This is true even if the dittoheads quote him as if what he says is the pure truth. Rush can get away with anything he wants to say since it is an all opinion program. The problem is that others see it as a news program and the repigs use this to their advantage.

If anyone knows how to sue Rush for lying, I have proof positive he lied about what I wrote and made my post seem even worse than what it was. I would love to put that lying pig in his place.
