1. thrilled to be vote 5. Please get everyone you to know to sign.
This is important!
this is the moment for voting integrity to become a national issue. not after the next election, before! No other issue will ever be won unless this one is tackled head on first.

2. I thought they broke up in 1970.
Although that reunion tour in 1993 was decent. Didn't know they were so political these days!

11. Please Please Please
Come on, Busby had people on the ground, she knows she lost.

Candidates know how many votes to expect per precinct.

She doesn't even remotely think she won.

This is outrageous and only serves the republicans. Wake up.

Busby is running again in November, do you want her to have to answer for all of this nuttery on the campaign trail?

Just donate to Brad if you like him but please stop hurting Democrats.

12. What on EARTH are you talking about?!!!!!!

Read this:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/huffpost/20060617/cm_huffpost/023197

And, then tell me HOW Busby knows she lost? How could ANYONE know the winner when the election was conducted on hackable machines that were NOT LEGAL OR CERTIFIED. Machines that were TAKEN HOME BY POLL WORKERS.

Either you are a troll, or you are a HUGE part of the problem.

The only thing that will truly hurt the dems is their refusal to address the fact that the Republicans are rigging elections.

Why on EARTH would wanting to ensure a transparent and honest election process hurt the dems?

Because the Repukes will slander them and say nasty things about them?

NEWSFLASH: THEY DO THAT EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK ALREADY.

Not standing up and fighting back forcibly has allowed the Repukes to DEFINE liberals as wimps. And, it is pretty damn wimpy to tolerate the underhanded, illegal, and corrupt tactics of the GOP.

13. HOW DARE YOU ?!?
Have you EVER worked for a campaign? Have you ever worked as a scrutineer?

How dare you call me a troll because I know how campaigns work.

Your link is garbage.

ONLY AFTER a candidate uses the tools available to organized campaigns to verify the results coming in from the precincts would a candidate challenge the results.

You and Brad are treating Busby and EVERYONE working for her like IDIOTS.

20. The ignorance among the democratic party is breath-taking on this issue

Here, we have an election conducted on ILLEGAL, UNCERTIFIABLE, AND HACKABLE machines. And, you think it is ludicrous to want a hand count? That is COMMON SENSE. That is the LEAST the democrats should demand. Are you suggesting we just ignore this and let this continue?

And, by your logic, Kerry never would have conceded the election because the exit polls showed HE WON.

I have worked on campaigns on the local, state, and national level. I was just at the MA democratic convention. And, there is a LOT of disorganization although it is slowly improving.

And, it is IDIOTIC to not challenge an election conducted in this way. It is NOT about this one specific race, it is about shining a light on the issue and working to educate the populace.

21. No. What is idiotic
is challenging races where the candidate has conceded because she knows she lost. If you have legitimate concerns (which in this case is questionable considering the source) then you have five months to have your concerns addressed before Busby runs again.

Is there any reason you can think of that Busby didn't question the pajama party Brad claims these machines went on?

It is nothing but hyperbole to suggest the machines used in the CA 50 special election were easily hackable. Taking your route forward, why should any democrat even bother to go to the polls this November?

Surely this isn't a winning strategy and the fact that Busby has chosen not to challenge the results suggests others close to the campaign agree with me.

If you feel this strongly what you should be doing, IMO, is organizing a national boycott of the elections in November.

24. No. What is idiotic ...
...is accepting elections on faith. Faith that the hackable machines weren't hacked, faith that 'they wouldn't steal elections', faith that you think you know all about elections.

Your kind of misguided faith is the cause of the failure of the American Democratic republic. Do you really think bush was elected by the people? That such an idiot could rise to the top with such a terrible reputation?

Your faith in the corruptible elections process allows the back door hacking that computer scientist have proved are built into the vote counting machinery.

Your words show a level of ignorance that encourages the vote stealing bastards, bastards that were in control of this particular election.

Consider this: you can't prove the election was counted correctly.

Basically you trust and have faith in the republican owned and operated vote counters. That is plain idiocy.
