20. I hope you heard the call from the

woman from WV who explained why the two are not analogous. Jefferson is on tape accepting marked bill which were later found in his freezer. There was enough evidence against him for a federal judge to issue warrents. There are transcripts of Jefferson discussing taking bribes. The accusations against Mollohan are both vague and promulgated by partisan repub groups.

his wife--and Rove was caught in the middle.

the vast majority of these types of things are basically a form of social nepotism...

and they list her life's accomplishment that i would assume got her there as:

Gore 2000

and that ain't saying much...i've always wondered how much of the lieberman vp-choice fiasco was her idea.

15. I had to turn it off just now. Cliff May running circles around Brazille

and laughing about it. When will our Dems learn to call these people on their lies. Notice how he laughed and said "Donna fact checks all my statments." And, Donna never mentioned Tom Delay when Jefferson and Mullhollan (Va Dem) were mentioned by May. She did get in Duke Cunningham and Bob Ney...but that was it. What about Tom Delay. What about some detail Donna. Is she the only Dem spokesperson that we can send out against that smarmy Cliff May who is lying about the Plame investigation? He still spouts the line that Saddam had WMD...

I just couldn't watch any more... Started to make me too angry. Thanks for your reporting on it, though.

..she's not strong enough. She should have asked why all the Republican crooks stuck to their jobs, unlike Jefferson. She should have been stronger on Bush's Iraq lies. Finally, who cares how many children the other jerk has?

I loathe May, he is one of those wingnuts who purposely lies and distorts but is smart enough to know full well that he is committing these acts for purely partisan gain.

I loathe Brazile more because she is uninformed and weak, letting guys like May consistently lie without challenge primarily because she appears to be ignorant on many of the issues she's allowed to pontificate on.

How lightweights like Brazile get mass media time as "Dem strategists" while people like Pitt, Conason, Goodman, and Madow get relegated to the "B" team of alternative outlets is one of the biggest indictments of how poorly our party does at putting qualified spokespeople out in front of our message.
