This sets aside centuries of common law, and revokes the protections specifically enacted into law in the United States in the early 1900’s.

Whilst you were sleeping, and sneering at the ‘one-trick pony’ he, and those who control him, have made great advances in turning this country into a police state.

‘Police State’ is not simply a pejorative term, but describes a country where the rulers have all the power, and the people none. To quote Wikipedia: “In a police state the police are not subject to the rule of law and there is no meaningful distinction between the law and the exercise of political power by the executive.”
