Oh Yeah?
How do they know that?
Is Iraq the only place we could have neutralized him?

Are we still waiting for Osama to go to Baghdad?

If only these people would show up in the Green Zone, maybe the Repulican Hawks could make America a better place than it was when they inherited (stole) it: http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/fugitives/wcc/fug_wcc.htm

2. If it was up to Pelosi and Murtha...
... Al Zarquai would never have become Al Zarquai.

No Iraq war == no Al Zarquai the terrorist mastermind. He would have remained a petty thug.

12. I Think You Nailed It, Ben
He was a street thug before. He'd be a street thug today, had we not given him the ultimate recruiting tool.

3. My guess is that al-Zaqarwi is still "alive"...
Since he was declared dead over eight times in the MSM since 2003, why should I think he's dead now?

I'm allergic to Chimpy's Koolaid.

4. We were a good tool. We got rid of him so they didn't have to.
Free martyrs, get your free martyrs!

That it is in fact a victory in the War on Terror or somesuch?

14. Why is no one pointing out that if it weren't for Reagan & Bush1
there would be no al Qaeda? It was those two who funded and trained bin Ladin and his group. Everything the repubs touch turns to shit. They created this mess to begin with. This should be shouted from the roof tops over and over until every realizes how badly these people mess up.

in 2004. Moot point.

Chimpanzee & Co. let him flourish so they wouldn't piss off the French and to preserve the "coalition of the willing".

on edit: come to think of it, President Gore would have eliminated him much sooner; the Clintons warned Chimp that Al Qaeda and militant Islamic extremists would be a threat of great and urgent magnitude.

17. Bushco Wanted War. PERIOD
There is no point to a rational discussion about this topic. Republicants believe the only purpose for government is security, i.e., war. So they have to have war to keep their purpose. We believe government should be for the common good. Until we can convince people to change their philosophy, we're going to be fighting wars in the future. Just my humble opinion.

18. If it was up to me - 2500 U.S. soldiers and 300,000 Iraqis
Would still be alive.

And 20,000 U.S. soldiers wouldn't of been wounded either.

How about that...?
