3. ..And again, they are concentrating on individual abuses, NOT
the horribly wasteful, sweetheart, no-bid contracts handed out to various CORPORATIONS with apparently no oversight.

4. Of course. Only poor people can ever be guilty of anything.
Corporations are above the law. Didn't you know that this is the American way?

6. Knowing NOTHING about the audit..let me guess
Greedy poor folks bought designer handbags and pricey duds with the Fema debit cards? Locked up poor folks got debit cards from Fema? Greedy contractors swooped in and overcharged for blue plastic "roofs"? ILLEGAL workers were "imported" and underpaid by overcharging contractors? Greedy poor folks falsified addresses and received money they did not "deserve"? Did I miss any??

20. Hard to understand why people
assume the fraud was committed by 'poor people' and are willing to excuse their criminal activity. I always assumed that two wrongs don't make a right. This country will really hit the skids if lack of integrity shifts down to the 'lower classes'. Makes one wonder if there are any people left in this country who are honest.

they were talking about the terrible things people bought with 9/11 money. The absolute worst, most offensive thing, was a sex change operation. Why is that any worse than stealing money to pay for something else?

18. There is no excusing ANYONE
who commits fraud or steals money that could be spent for the welfare of others, rich, poor or anyone in between.

but why they singled that out as the worst thing for someone to spend money on is what I'm wondering.

17. I had that exact thought when I saw the MSM blathering on about that.
It's like Reagan's "Welfare Queens" -- meanwhile the "Corporate Welfare Queens" are above reproach.
