1. I saw him, but was admittedly only halfway listening...
as I was doing the ironing and find picking lint off the clothes to be way more interesting than listening to his BS. Is he becoming a Today show correspondent or what? He's always on these days it seems.

He did a rehash of his "I don't support the way she attacks people but we should listen to her point" thing on Ann Coulter. I did get tickled when he said that personal attacks aren't nice and he never attacks anyone personally! LOL! My husband wanted to know what was so funny about his work shirt.

He did talk about W's visit to Iraq. It was interesting to hear him say that the whole "mission accomplished" idea is stupid, and that as long as diplomats have to sneak into the country at night and reporters can't even go out for a cup of coffee, then no progress has been made in Iraq. I'm definitely not giving direct quotes here, but I'm pretty sure I recall him saying NO progress. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

4. Lauer called him a conservative.
And he responded that he was independent.

That was about the time I pinched a big loaf. :hurts:

2. What did he say about the German Saboteurs in WWII?
We executed them without a trial? Well, they did have a secret military tribunal. Controversial to this day. The prisoners at Gitmo have not had any kind of trial and they have rotted there for 3 years.

3. Did Matt Lauer ask him if he apologized for the Malmedy screw-up?
If not, I ain't interested...
