I don't get how Americans, even clueless ones, fall for that. People said, once the Iraq war started, that we had to all pull together, no matter what we thought, because, heck, we were at war and we had to support the president and the troops. They just don't seem to realize how with that reasoning, all the administration has to do is start bombing and then do whatever they want. It's crazy. If the war is illegal or something we don't support, we're supposed to shut up just because they went ahead and started it without our approval? It's a blank check for them and so many people just don't get it.
