Everybody else has had a shot at the big Rove story. Here's mine.

I think Karl rolled & Fitz needs him to nail Libby. For Fitz to indict Rove just now would be to damage the credibility of his own prospective witness. The possibility of an indictment remains as a highly potent threat If Karl should fail to perform as expected on the stand.

Scooter is the direct path to Sneer. Rove is small fry.

4. Yup--I stole part of the notion, alright.

As for "lugubrious," I saw a T shirt the other day that said, "Bush is listening--Use big words," so I decided to try it as a way to keep some of the trolls around here off this thread.
