CHOICES...THOSE DAMNED CHOICES.
Edited on Fri Dec-30-05 07:30 PM by cloud_chaser1
Choice one: Going after Jack Abramoff who turned Congress into a pack of felons
or
Going after the members of Congress who were so weak minded, they accepted
bribes, gifts and other considerations from Abramoff.

Choice two: The Attorney General announcing a probe into the question of who leaked the
domestic spying story to the New York Times
or
An investigation into the domestic spying story, who did it, who said they could
and who thinks it was perfectly okay to do it and what do we do about it.

With the Jack Abramoff issue, if you investigate Abramoff himself, you will of necessity have to investigate the members of Congress who aggreed to play in his sand box. You accomplish two things at once. You get the fox and the cooperating hens in the henhouse.

Choice two is a bit more complicated but it is basically Wagging the Dog... turning our attention away from the act itself to the subsidiary question of who blew the whistle on Bush. Frankly, I dont care who told on him....I'm just glad he told because this in all liklihood, is the issue that will bring down the Bush Administration. Kudos to the blabbermouth.

:woohoo:
