Particularly this segment.
Where Every Vote Didn't Count
Robert Kennedy, president of the Waterkeeper Alliance and contributor to Rolling Stone,
and
Farhad Manjoo, writer for Salon.com
- debate claim that Republicans blocked Democratic votes in Ohio in the 2004 presidential election
» Was the 2004 Election Stolen? by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
» Farhad Manjoo's critique of Robert Kennedy Jr's article and Kennedy's response
After listening to this, I have decided that I am thru with this show.
Lehrer gave Manjoo much more time to speak than RFK Jr.
Instead of allowing RFK to rebutt Manjoo's rhetoric, Lehrer then brought up the 1960 Presidential election! He said there were rumors it was stolen and specifically mentioned Chicago. RFK Jr was put into a position of having to defend JFK instead of discussing the subject at hand. And even then, cut off RFK Jr in mid-sentence to end the segment.
I saw Lehrer sit in for Charlie Rose the other night and interview Noam Chomsky. Lehrer was so condescending and disrespectful, that I was horrified. There were many current and interesting topics to discuss. For some reason, Lehrer kept going back to B.F. Skinner and his philosophy of child rearing! Whenever Chomsky tried to get into current political subjects, Lehrer would go back to the B.F. Skinner crap!!
