Protest Election Fraud Legislation in Ohio and Florida: Boycott States
Here is the latest in my series of ideas of things that people can do to raise awareness of what is now institutionalized, federally sanctioned Voting Rights Act violating voter disenfranchisement. It is happening everywhere, but the two states with the worst histories and the worst recent legislation have been Ohio and Florida.

If we had an effective Voting Rights Movement in this country, analogous to MLK Jr's Civil Rights movement or the Women's Suffrage Movement or the Founders movement to remedy their taxation without representation problem, both Ohio and Florida (and possibly even Georgia) would be the targets of consumer boycotts this summer.

This should be the easiest thing in the world to organize. All you have to do is plan your vacation for some other state. There are 48 (or 47) others to chose from.

Does anyone else think that this is a reasonable idea, given the seriousness of what these two states' legislatures have done and the impact which their laws will have on the rest of the country?

1. Florida has fruit. Does Ohio make or grow anything?

3. Count me in.
Of course, I don't have a job and thus no money to go vacationing, but if I did I promise I wouldn't go to Ohio, Florida or Georgia. Gee! That was easy!

6. I'm boycotting my 40th. high school reunion in Ohio this month. And,
yes, Ohio grows things...wheat, corn, soybeans...you know the stuff that feeds people.

8. Thanks all. An organized boycott would scare Florida a lot.
