to why they couldn't finish the discussion?? Same thing was happening last night on the rerun. Do you suppose they just wanted to remove it.?

3. I saw that too, but I don't think she's a blogger. She also said

Free Republic is a "huge online community" that sometimes gets "500 replies" on a single post. I wouldn't know, as I view FR from one step removed (when someone pastes a post from there to here on DU), but judging from pix of FR "protests" or "gatherings", they have a small membership.

6. In one of the panel discussions yesterday, a lady in the audience

said that she blogged daily at Democratic Underground and Daily KOS and it is the only that that has kept her sane these last five and half years. I forget her question but was cheering her on when she mentioned DU. Wish she had mentioned her online name - would like to give her a hearty thank you.

I'm enjoying watching the coverage but unfortunately C-Span is having "technical difficulties" so has cut away and gone to re-broadcasting this morning's WJ. Sign....
