Coulter at least occasionally tries to use some distorted form of logic. Phelps just misinterprets the Bible and acts like an asshole.

They both espouse radical views in order to gain publicity.

I find Coulter more distasteful. At least Phelps is doing something he truly believes in. Coulter may very well be as "conservative" as she claims, but I believe her primary motivating force is money.
