Did anyone hear the last 15 mins of Ed Schultz today? Caller was
GREAT! She used to be a Dem consultant and quit out of frustration.

Ed let her have a lot of time, and in the end, asked if he could add her to the consultants of his show, similar to the "Your man Goldman" calls he makes.

She spoke of Dems not having what they call an air consultant. Everyone makes a misspeak if they talk often enough, but you need a backup group of people who grab the mistake and explain it away. When she spoke about the Busby misspeak on "you don't need papers", so asked "Where were the Dems who should have been watching her opponent? I'm sure HE made mistakes too, but noone was paying any attention!"

She recommended using the friendly media! Take every opportunity you can get, and always push for more!

When Pelosi was on MTP, she had the perfect opportunity to push the Dem agenda, and she didn't! All she had to say when Russert asked "When the Dems take control, what will they do?" was "Repeal the Bush tax cuts on the top 10% and use that $$ to XXXXXX. But all she did was say they'd do things differently than the Pubs!

The lady really was good! I hope to hear from her often!

1. I heard parts of it
Unfortunately the phone rang and I was half talking on the phone and half listening to it. I don't get MTP and don't know much about what is going on in the US lately, but I definitely agree with her in general. You should email Ed and tell him you liked what she had to say.

4. I was so irritated with Ed
the first 10 minutes I had to turn him off. Sorry I missed her. As a really active Dem, Precinct Committee person, former chair of the county party who has done the calling, walking fundraising etc etc. I found his diatribe about the organization really out of line.

3. I didn't hear but she makes some valid points. Where is the unity
in our party? Before someone blasts me for attacking democrats and points out that there are some democrats speaking out together on issues, let me say I'm not talking about them. I am talking about the many prominent democrats we have that refuse to get on any type of message and support the party as a whole. They make stupid statements all the time and vote for things they know the democratic party does not fucking stand for. Just so they can kiss Bush's ass or one of their republican friends. In the end their support of these people is met with disgust, scorn and ridicule time and time again. The Republicans then get on the tv and radio air waves and talk about how we have no message.

5. I only wish I could have remembered all the points she made.
Total common sense stuff. I'm glad to hear she will be on Ed's show in the future, but sad that she quit as a Dem consultant. We desperately need people like her to guide us now.

6. The sad thing is they won't fucking listen to someone like her. I'm sorry
but that's the truth.
