About the California primaries yesterday

First, what does DU know about Phil Angelides? While I've said that any candidate the dems put up has to be better than Arnold Schwarzenegger, what is his voting record? How does he stack up against Steve Westley?

Second, what did the exit polls show? I know that in the last four years, the exit polls have been proven to be completely meangingless, but does Angelides even have a chance against Ahnuld?

1. If he's pro-amnesty, he's going to lose.

which is double talk for I don't know what

In order for him to stand a chance labor has to come out in a big way in November

If we don't have the voter turnout, we lose

2. I voted for Westley, but will vote for Angelides in November

Angelides was supported by the Democratic machinary. They have done so well for us the last six plus years. I think it would have been a much easier race against arnold with westley, but if labor shows up in force, Angelides will win. If we have high voter turnout that will make the difference. I am not very optimistic
