NH paper slams DCCC meddling
http://www.seacoastonline.com/news/06062006/editoria/106424.htm

"We don’t need Washington insiders involved in our campaigns - at least not at this point in the process. New Hampshire voters - Democratic and Republican - are more than capable of choosing who they want representing them in Congress without our choices being limited by people who have no idea what our state is all about."

FWIW, the Herald is generally a Democratic paper.

2. "strings attached" loyalty involved....good for that paper!
"It also seems the DCCC’s endorsement has some strings attached. Craig will have to sign a "memorandum of agreement" with the committee concerning how much money he will raise and what kind of "grass-roots" organization he will establish."

When you get Rahm's money, you must do it his way.

6. Not sure I see the connection, Lynne
How does the phone jamming play into the DCCC screwing around in a four way primary?

7. Read the link - it was republicans (and one from Maine)...
Edited on Wed Jun-07-06 01:59 PM by LynneSin
..who interferred with the phones on election day in New Hampshire and possibly costing us the state since many people call their local party to find voting locations. So in a nutshell - republicans have done far worse than democrats

8. I still can't see your point
There are four Democrats running in NH-01. Three of us were directly impacted by the 2002 jamming, since we were on the ballot that fall.

How does the fact that Chuck McGee, Marc Pappas and their band of miscreants screwed the Dems over have anything to do with the DCCC sticking its nose where it doesn't belong?

Let the people of NH decide.

9. I guess what I'm saying is this
Perhaps the local newspapers should be harshing more on the RCCC than the DCCC. I guess I was trying to put things into perspective
