Kudos to Sen. Landrieu (D - LA) Funding to rebuild NOLA VA hospital.

The Senator made an impassioned case to override the House Allocation Committee's stalling on releasing funds to rebuild the VA hospital in New Orleans. The funding has been approved and supported by practically everyone in government. Without the House's release, though, funds can't be spent, in real time. Apparently it's mired in a broader "debate" in the House. Smarmy Chair Rep. Lewis (R - CA) put a motion to deny her request (Senate override to force House to release funds) to a voice vote. The "ayes" had it.
