not just that he nails Conswervatives (he makes fun of Democrats too), but that he's so nice about it - unlike many Right Wing talk hosts who just shout down their guests and sound so angry.

It's why I don't care much for Colbert. I know its satire - he's making fun of O'Reilly and such, but I just don't want to see any more nastiness, even to show nastiness. Stewart is just so smooth, and the guests don't get angry back at him, maybe because they think he's joking, but he's made the point.

Wasn't that a basic yet perfectly thought out idea? It goes downhill for Bennett from there.

Last night, Jon Stewart showed why he's not just one of the funniest commentators on tv, but also one of
the most adept interviewers out there. He showed chops Edward Murrow would be proud to acknowledge as he tore
RW talking points to shreds and cut through to the truth of the matter.
People who call themselves "real news" reporters should be ashamed by this self proclaimed "fake news" guy showing them all how it's done.
