Vatican attacks gays as pope looks to Spain

VATICAN CITY - The Vatican launched yet another attack on homosexuality on Tuesday a month before the first trip by Pope Benedict XVI to Spain, whose socialist government supports gay marriage.

The Roman Catholic Church denounced homosexual relationships and other attacks against so-called “family values”, saying they were unnatural and a sign of the eclipse of God.

“The eclipse of God is at the root of today’s profound crisis of belief, and of the trend encouraging laws recognizing unnatural couplings of homosexuals who claim the rights reserved for husband and wife,” the Pontifical Council for the Family said in a statement.

“Never before have the natural institutions of marriage and family been the victim of such violent attacks,” said the document, entitled “the family and human procreation.”

and who in God's good name would believe the words from a leader of a church with over 10,000 incidents of child sexual abuse, over half a billion in "settlement" money (how exactly do you financially "settle" abusing a child?) and a participant in a decades long coverup of this abuse?

The eclipse of God is in your damned mirror, Pope Nazi - and in every single time you authorized a coverup of a despicable criminal act in order to once again damage a young persons life in order to maintain a false image of your church.
