The Real Threat to Marriage: Top 10 GOP Adulterers
Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 03:41 PM by newyawker99

<snip>

1. President George H.W. Bush allegedly had an LTR with British-born Jennifer Fitzgerald that lasted at least two decades, all while married to Bar, who said, “He didn’t even notice when I stopped coloring my hair.”

2. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, famously married to Maria Shriver, is allegedly a serial groper, a purveyor of prostitutes and the father of at least one child out of wedlock.

3. Sen. John McCain, 2008 Republican presidential frontrunner, and admitted adulterer and alleged philanderer.

4. Rudolph Giuliani, former mayor of New York City, betrayed his second wife, TV presenter Donna Hanover, with his “very good friend” Judith Nathan, whom he has since married. Hanover also publicly accused Rudy of having an affair with a staffer, Cristyne Lategano-Nicholas.

5. Rush Limbaugh, comedian, (a.k.a. “Rusty Sharpe”) dated Marta Fitzgerald while she was married to someone else. Marta later became his third wife. (He and CNN’s Daryn Kagin recently stopped dating.)

6. Bill O’Reilly, propagandist, who is married to Maureen McPhilmy, tried to have phone sex with Andrea Mackris, who sued him for sexual harrassment.

Ya know... maybe this guy's on to something. We should get a media project together and go to the ex-wives of every one of these hypocrites (and all the others promoting the "sanctity" of marriage), and tape their ex's views on how their marriage was held sacred by the afore mentioned asswipes.

2. Shame on you for stooping to invading these men's
private lives. As public officials, we should be concerned only with their public policy
and behaviour. What goes on in the privacy of their bedrooms is their business!

:sarcasm:

4. I don't know if this counts in this category
of GOP values, but this one tops the list:

Phil Giordano (R) ran against Joe Lieberman in 2000. Convicted to 38 years in prison for pedophilia. :puke:

8.  gay marriage distraction from USA's use of Terror in 3rd world
Your Democrats are not worth voting for. That party died in 1968 and is just as corrupt in many ways as the Bushies. The same corporate lobbyists have the ears of the Democrats as well. Bill Clinton passed the draconian welfare cuts and implemented the UN sanctions on Iraq that left a trail of dead Iraqi babies.

As for gay marriage?--Who cares it is just a union between 2 people that love each other. What is wrong with that? If the right wing bores want to defend family values then maybe they shold implement policies that would actually benefit families.
A national public healthcare plan would put more money back into families instead of the failed HMO's policy on profits first- patients second.
It is the Right wing that has created policies where you have to work longer to get enough money to survive and therefore spend less time with your family.

Tax cuts during wartime are an insult to people

I could go on but I'm afraid nobody will listen----as for Bush supporters and patriots waving flags in defense of your killers in Haditha and many other places in Iraq---shame on you and your cowardly genuflections.

14. John Fund tops my list
Had an affair with the teenage daughter of the woman he was dating, then pressured the girl into having an abortion when she became pregnant. This sanctimonious prick is on the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal and an avowed Clinton hater.

15. Sam Seder mentioned yesterday
that in scripture, if a woman divorces and remarries while her first husband's still alive, it's considered adultery.

And if that's the case, Kay Bailey Hutchinson fits that definition.
