W just now: We need Mexicans to do the really shitty jobs.
But today, he's saying we need them to do, "the jobs that Americans aren't doing".

Unfuckingbelievable.

2. Yeah. And he says this in New Mexico! He seems to think
that people here talk the way he thinks Texans talk, too. This is embarrassing.

4. I would amend his words slightly
Immigrants are doing the job that conservative Americans aren't doing. They are the ones that bitch and moan and never provide a solution short of genocide. If "conservatives" spent a season picking lettuce or making beds at motels they may have a greater appreciation of their fellow human beings, but that obviously is not in their bible.

5. Americans aren't doing jobs. They're being removed, offshore.
And I fear for the day those we offshore to use their knowledge against us.

Rather like one kid telling his "friend" how to use a water hose... the "friend" promptly takes the water hose, trains it on the one who taught 'im, and presses home the level at full blast.

6. Always leaving that sentence unfinished:
"The jobs Americans aren't doing for $1 or $2 an hour."

Dying for labor. Any takers?

11. Do you think $8.00 an hour is a livable wage?
We have $8.00 an hour processing jobs here too. About 20 years ago, those jobs were hard to come by, of course that's when they paid twice as much money an hour.

14. Barely. It's a crappy wage. But South Dakota isn't exactly a high
wage state. It is a "right to work" state, though.

I worked in the packing industry in the 1970s. I was a member of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workers of America. But the packing houses broke the unions. My son worked in the industry in the 1970s; in real wage terms, he made about half what I did.
