Poor Nora O'Donnell was about to cry
Douglas Brinkley, Presidential Historian, was just on. He talked at length about Chimpy's horrible year, and how Bush isn't doing very much differently to turn it around. Katrina kicked his ass. Big Time.

2. Don't forget that Brinkley lives in New Orleans (or at least did)....
he knows of what he speaks.

3. Did you hear him a couple days after Katrina...
...I wish I knew where I saw the interview, but he was emotional, and VERY unhappy with the Bush Administration's response.

5. Yes I did. I believe it was one of the morning shows.
I am from New Orleans too....although haven't lived there for awhile. I shared his emotion.

He also took calls and told off all the repuke callers that disagreed about the way FEMA handled the Katrina aftermath.

...I went to C-Span's website and found it. It was under 'Hurricane Aftermath' and on September 9, 2005. I'm going to watch it again.:patriot:

10. It's probably a good thing that
someone like Brinkley lived in New Orleans and can tell of it first hand..a presidential historian for gawd's sake. Although, I've heard doug brinkley on the tube in the way past and wasn't exactly thrilled with the way he was presenting the bushites..maybe Katrina changed him, too. I wonder if these recent poll takers that have bush climbing know about this?

6. Damn!! I'd love to see Hora on the verge of tears with her knickers in a
Frist. Do you have any more of the interview details to relay? A pic of the poor, pitiful Hora? Avid description of same? (Just for clarification - I can't stand that witch).

7. I'm sorry, I came in on the tail end
as I was changing the channel to catch Countdown. It will, however, replay later this evening. Nora is hosting for Tweety this week.

Now I can go vacuum the floors and be content knowing that poor Hora was on the verge of tears. It's a good thing!
