Yawn. We've heard so much religious BS since W declared Christ as the great philosopher and as he started stealing our taxes to fund his faith based charities for some nebulous reason.

The religious right has insinuated that W will be the instrument used for Armageddon. What BS.

Bush, give us our tax monies back and if you want money to give to your bogus religious causes, give it yourself and ask your rich friends. Keep your religion and false morals out of the working class pocketbooks.

2. tax exempt status should preclude politics from the pulpit and
mobilizing the minions for the corporate evildoers. I just can't understand that there isn't a goat swinging from a rope in the WH "situation room". You know, the room that Gunckert gave his sessions....

4. Or 6:06:06 p.m. just to lull us into a false sense of security
Unless one uses the military clock, of course. But I don't believe Bush** has learned how to tell time yet, much less how to read military time.

12. GMT is world time
It stays the same all year round. The UK uses GMT during the winter and moves an hour ahead onto British Summer Time (BST) from March through October.

In the military, local time is always expressed as 0100 through 2400 hours to avoid confusion between a.m. and p.m.

13. Thanks for the heads-up..
My reply was a weak attempt at a joke.

I am actually a navigator and ex-military (USN SEAL).

Just a joke.

I truly cannot remember.

I am way back ('69-72).

I was just a tool in S E Asia (Vietnam and Laos).

Am I narcissitic or what? All my lines begin with "I".

17. You got it
OS was RM before they split them, so we were told. Good memory! I was in during the early 80s, the 'New' Navy, heh. Frikkin' retread of the old misogynist Navy was my experience.

Ya know, I watch how many times I start sentences with 'I' too. So if that compels me to say no, you're not narcissistic...does that make me a narcissist?? lol

:) Beddy-bye time. Hang loose, bro.

6. Then maybe we could have true morals
Like Christ's commandment of turning the other cheek and forgiving 7 times 7 , or Ghandi's peaceful resistance.

W's shock and awe and preventive war against innocent populations just seem to leave the Christian message a touch cold and acerbic.

11. In Ethiopia
It's still 1998. When this doesn't work, they can fall back on the old Y2K based on the Julian calender.

For some reason, when it comes to certain religions, I think of bush as satan's asswipe. And satan evidently is a litterbug.

I'll head to Vegas .... find some strippers and populate the earth in my image.

If you add up the name 'George Bush' in Hebrew letters it comes out:

G = 3 (gimel)

e = 5 (heh)

o = 70 (ayin)

r = 200 (resh)

g = 3 (gimel)

e = 5 (heh)

B = 2 (beth)

u = 70 (ayin)

s = 300 (shin)

h = 8 (cheth)

total = 666 (Antichrist)

24. 666 and 999

Hello everybody...

just a little thought that crossed my mind.

Who invented the 666 myth?

My guess is that this isn't of christian roots but much older.

Did it ever occur to you that 666 is the "opposite" of 999?
The digit nine is the "best" you can have in a decimal system.
It is the number of luck in ancient pagan religions.
Like in the nine-dented star many people still wear as a symbol of luck, health, blessing, etc..

27. 666 is one of the ancient power symbols of the goddess Ishtar, amoung
others. here is one interesting link on the subject. also, in barbara g walker's book, "the woman's encyclopedia of myths and secrets" there is a discussion of this fact.
