how to contact congress through email?
I was wondering if anybody knows a site where a person would be able to type in her/his zip code, and it would automatically come up with information about that person's specific house and senate representatives' names and their contact info (phone/email). I just started my own blog at http://freedom-minds.blogspot.com/ , and my first post was about internet neutrality. While researching that info I found a pro internet neutrality site which had a neat feature of being able to do just that - it would look up your particular legislative representative and send them an email in your name supporting net neutrality.

Considering that half our country is too fucking lazy to vote, it would be a nice thing to know something like this when I am in a middle of political discussion with friends, and they are willing to write congress and let their views known if that option is right their at their fingertips. Because let's be honest - most people who were never interested that much in politics are not going to go and research how to contact their representatives.

The second question is what is the easist way to get people signed up to vote? I know there are a lot of organization that were trying people to get people to vote in the last presidential election, so I am just looking to find something that would make that process as easy as possible (once again from a standpoint of a young individual who is fairly interested in politics but never voted, doesn't live in the area of his/her official address, and has no idea what steps they need to take in order to get registered to vote)

2. thanx
That's exacly what I am looking for. Do they have something like this for the senators? Although that is not such an issue because senators are much more well known and there are not that many of them, I never have problem identifying 2 senators for a particular state and then looking up their contact info through a search engine.
What about lesser democratic offices/candidates? Does democratic party maintain some kind of public online database where you can look up your local campaign/issues/contacts on the internet?

This is the site I use. You can send emails straight from here, and even have them posted publicly.

6. definitely a good site
Now how would I be able to find who is running a campaign against a republican congresswoman in my district in upstate new york? I am away from there because of work, but when I go to dnc.org I don't see anything that would let me know who is running against that representative, so that I could donate a little money to their campaign.
